After the great success of the second edition in spring, World of Fireplaces (WOF) has cemented its position as one of Europe's leading industry platforms. The focus is now on the future: from 13 to 15 April 2027, WOF will open its doors for the third time in Leipzig – with the clear aim of expanding its international reach and further strengthening its position as a central meeting place for innovations, new products and dialogue on the heating solutions of tomorrow.  

The second edition in April this year impressively demonstrated that WOF has quickly established itself as an indispensable platform for the industry: over 340 exhibitors and brands presented their new products and technological innovations across 20,000 square metres of exhibition space. Trade visitors from around 60 countries turned Leipzig into the international centre of the fireplace world for three days. The trade fair thus surpassed its 2023 premiere in almost all areas – in terms of exhibitor numbers, visitor response and media interest. With the consistent further development of its successful format, World of Fireplaces has once again reinforced its role as the ‘fireplace to be’ – a place where new products are presented, trends are set and partnerships are formed.

This international appeal is set to grow further in 2027 – particularly in neighbouring European countries. In addition to leading manufacturers from Germany, numerous companies and trade visitors from Central and Northern Europe are expected to attend. The trade fair is thus developing even more strongly into the leading European trade fair for modern fireplaces and hybrid heating solutions.

In the wake of the energy transition and increasing demands for sustainable heating solutions, the interaction between different technologies is becoming increasingly important. Presenting these technologies will also be the aim of the special show ‘hybrid heat’ in 2027. Here, visitors will see how fireplaces can be intelligently combined with alternative options such as heat pumps or solar technology and modern control technology – sending a strong signal for innovation and sustainability.

These topics will also be addressed by the Fireplace HUB, which will once again form the centrepiece of the supporting programme. This is where industry experts and political representatives meet to exchange knowledge and experience. The focus will be on key future issues relating to the energy and heating transition – from emission reduction to security of supply.

Proven concept, optimised timing: The trade fair format remains deliberately consistent: the event will once again take place in Hall 5 of the Leipzig Trade Fair with additional outdoor space. What is new is the optimised timing from Tuesday to Thursday, which makes travel and planning easier and meets the wishes of many exhibitors and trade visitors.

trendfairs will continue to focus on quality and service orientation in 2027. The trade fair organisation will be further optimised – from digital preparation and visitor guidance to on-site hospitality. The aim is to position World of Fireplaces even more strongly as the most attractive trade fair in the industry.
