From 13 to 15 April 2027, the fireplace industry will meet in Leipzig.

In economically challenging times, it is more important than ever for the industry to work together and look ahead. Trade fairs play a central role in this: they are the ideal platform for exchange, orientation and successful business development. WORLD OF FIREPLACES (WOF) is consistently pursuing this goal and will bring the fireplace industry together for the third time in Leipzig from 13 to 15 April 2027.

After two successful editions, the international trade fair has established itself as the most important meeting place for the fireplace and modern heating solutions industry. Bjarne Varre from Nordpeis emphasises this in his statement: ‘WORLD OF FIREPLACES has become a unique industry meeting place. (...)’. Here, new products are presented along the entire value chain, innovations are discussed and future prospects are developed. For 2027, trade fair organiser trendfairs GmbH and its partner association HKI (German Association of Home, Heating and Kitchen Technology) have set themselves the goal of further refining the content and structure of the trade fair and making it even more attractive for exhibitors and trade visitors.

Internationality will be further expanded

There is a particular focus on expanding internationality. In addition to the D-A-CH region, visitors are increasingly targeting important European markets, including France, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and the Scandinavian countries. At the same time, other target groups such as architects and the HVAC & Plumbing Trades are being increasingly addressed.

Successful early booking period

The early booking figures show that WORLD OF FIREPLACES remains an indispensable platform even in economically challenging times: numerous well-known companies that have already participated in previous editions of WOF secured their stand space for 2027 early on.

Hubertus Brunner, Managing Director of Brunner, explains: ‘WOF 2025 was a complete success for us. (...) We look forward to seeing you again in 2027!’ Richard Landolt, Managing Director of Rüegg Cheminée from Switzerland, also draws a positive conclusion: "What an experience! WOF 2025 offered many inspiring encounters, great conversations and unforgettable moments. (...)‘ The confirmations underscore the importance of the trade fair as a fixture for market presence and exchange. Lorenz Gegler, Managing Director of CB-Tec, says: ’(...) WORLD OF FIREPLACES is the perfect platform to present our products to a specialist audience."

Fireplace HUB for knowledge transfer and networking
In terms of content, WOF continues to focus on clear priorities. The Fireplace HUB will once again be the centre for knowledge transfer and networking. As a free offer for trade visitors, it offers a varied programme every day with input from business, associations and practitioners. It is the place where shared visions are conceived and political debates are held. The focus is on current topics such as emission reduction, hybrid heating solutions, security of supply, recruitment of skilled workers, but also potential at the point of sale for the crafts sector and innovations. Numerous national and European associations are shaping the programme and bringing different perspectives and approaches to the dialogue. Frank Kienle, Managing Director of the HKI, emphasises, "(...) With the WOF, we combine tradition and innovation, offering a central dialogue platform for the industry and political discourse with the HUB. (...)"

Innovative heating technologies
The special show ‘hybrid heat’ also remains a central element of the trade fair. It shows how fireplaces can be sustainably combined with other heating technologies – a topic that is becoming increasingly relevant in public discussion in view of regulatory conditions and technological developments.

With the most important companies and opinion leaders, a strong supporting programme and a clear focus on the topics of the future, WORLD OF FIREPLACES 2027 in Leipzig will once again be the curator for an industry in which innovations become visible and perspectives emerge.
