Exchange, business, trends and inspiration - the perfect mix makes area30 so successful

2025-07-14

The kitchen trade fair is the central meeting point for the entire community

From 20 to 25 September 2025, the coveted B2B business platform area30 will attract decision-makers from the kitchen industry from Germany and all over Europe to East Westphalia. The focus will be on innovative products and the perfect presentation of all exhibitors as well as communication with each other, the cultivation of business relationships and the precise transfer of current developments and trends. The completely newly organised special show innovation area is of particular importance, as it is the centre of attraction for the closely networked kitchen community and home to the stage - the eagerly awaited keynotes and talks. In conjunction with the numerous services on offer, area30 will remain the best-attended trade fair centre with the most exhibitors and brands in the autumn of 2025.

The unique position of this trade fair means that many great companies and brands see themselves as regular exhibitors. As Kevin Göbel, Managing Director and Partner of Systemceram, explains: "Every year, the relevance of area30 for the industry is demonstrated anew. For us, it is the most important trade fair of the year. We meet our existing customers and can generate new business contacts. What we particularly like is area30's focus on the kitchen industry, valuable contacts and networking, but also the good atmosphere..."

Also with companies such as ASK, AKP, Amica, Avitana, Berbel, Caso, Cyncly, Dinger Stone, E-Opus, Falmec, Garantiemax, Grohe, Gräbert, Hansgrohe, Horst Vogt, Hotrega, Just Naturstein, Küchenatlas, Küchentreff, Meisterdesk, Midea, Naber, Naturstein Risse, Novy, Oranier, Plasmamade, Quooker, Samsung, Schock, SHD, Strasser, Swisscave, Villeroy & Boch and Tebü, we often talk about partnerships with area30 that have lasted for many years. These companies appreciate the constantly evolving concept of organiser Trendfairs GmbH (Fürth) as well as the extensive ideas and innovation platform for their successful business for many years.

Nikolaus Fleischhacker, CEO of Oranier, summarises this relationship of trust succinctly as follows: "We have been committed to participating in area30 since day one. For us, this order fair is an important and central date in the calendar, where we present our new products and meet our trade partners. We value the September date in Löhne as a meeting point for the kitchen technology industry and look forward to it every year!"

On the other hand, area30 attracts attractive new exhibitors year after year: This autumn, for example, the companies by Jacobsen, Caesarstone, Caressi, Häfele, Laminam, RMT Soft and Templer Naturstein have announced their participation. Not only in “calm (business) waters”, but especially in economically and socially challenging times, this trade fair provides the entire kitchen community with reliable guidance on emerging developments and is rightly regarded as the ideal place for high-quality networking.

A decisive factor for exhibitors and trade visitors to come to the exhibition centre on Lübbecker Straße in Löhne for six days of one hundred percent B2B are the services that have been developed and perfected for over a decade according to the wishes of the trade fair guests. Perfection is what the Trendfairs team strives for when it comes to focussed discussions and business in a professional, feel-good atmosphere. The simple online check-in, which ensures quick entry to the trade fair, helpful hostesses and the free shuttle service that shuttles between the Albert-Schweitzer-Straße car park and the trade fair entrance, together with the culinary delights on offer, make area30 the
“place to be”.

The presentations of all exhibitors take centre stage at the trade fair. These are skilfully complemented and enriched by the innovation area under the direction of the organiser. Companies such as Bora and MCR use this special show as an additional touchpoint in the kitchen autumn. The stage will once again be the focus in 2025, where personalities such as Katrin de Louw, Yvonne Zahn, Markus Schomaker, Ralph Steffens and others will celebrate their great performance with an always enthusiastic audience. The focus will be on AI/AI, the experience at the point of sale, economic factors for retailers as well as digitalisation in the trade, material combinations & design trends or planning & design. The latter in particular highlight the growing importance of carpenters and joiners specialising in kitchens in and for the industry. Trendfairs is therefore focussing on this target group in particular this year.

No less exciting for exhibitors and visitors alike are the co-operations linked to area30. Once again, students and teachers from the Möbelfachschule Köln will be taking part with the ‘MöFa goes Küchenherbst’ format, visiting the trade fair over two days, as will other players from the Küchenmeile. A visit by important representatives of the NKBA (National Kitchen & Bath Association; Bethlehem in Pennsylvania / USA) is also planned. The US association will be giving a presentation on its home market, which, with a sales volume of around 235 billion dollars (including floor and wall), is sure to be of great interest to many trade fair participants.

Global player Samsung has of course been present in the USA for a long time. But the compliment that Diana Diefenbach (Senior Manager Technical Product Management and Communication at Samsung Electronics Hausgeräte) pays to Trendfairs and the German market is particularly pleasing: "For Samsung, area30 is the absolute highlight of the year in the home appliance sector: It is the perfect place to bring our target group from the specialised trade and our valued partners together under one roof and to present our latest built-in products and AI solutions. The exchange on the latest trends and challenges from the kitchen and furniture cosmos is particularly valuable - we really appreciate this opportunity at area30!"
